Field Engineer
Altera Recruitment Group is proud to be partnering with an innovative and rapidly growing organisation operating at the forefront of sustainable waste and energy technology. Our client is seeking a hands on Field Engineer to support the deployment, operation and optimisation of cutting edge systems designed to convert waste streams into renewable energy.
Key Responsibilities of a Field Engineer
* Support operation of pilot scale and commercial systems across multiple customer sites
* Carry out planned preventative maintenance and reactive fault finding activities
* Assist with commissioning of new installations and provide ongoing operational support
* Conduct system testing, performance monitoring and troubleshooting of process equipment
* Work closely with internal teams, contractors and clients to ensure successful project delivery
Candidate Requirements
* Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel nationally with regular overnight stays
* Experience in field engineering, commissioning or maintenance within industrial process environments
* Practical knowledge of pumps, gas systems, water treatment or similar process equipment
* Electrical competency with relevant certification or demonstrable experience
* Strong communication skills with the ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
What’s on Offer
* Salary in the region of £40,000 to £50,000 depending on experience
