We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-focused Design Engineer to join a growing engineering team working on complex, technically challenging projects. This role involves producing high-quality technical drawings, 3D models, and design documentation to support multidisciplinary engineering and construction activities.

Key Responsibilities
* Produce detailed technical drawings and schematics using CAD software (including AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Revit, MicroStation, and SolidWorks).
* Develop 3D models and visualisations using tools such as SketchUp and NavisWorks to support design coordination and project delivery.
* Work closely with engineers and project stakeholders to interpret technical requirements and design specifications.
* Prepare full construction drawing packages including plans, sections, elevations, and detailed fabrication/installation drawings.
* Review and amend drawings based on technical feedback, ensuring accuracy and consistency.
* Support integration of design data into wider project workflows and documentation systems.
* Carry out quality checks on all design outputs to maintain high technical standards.
Skills & Experience Required
* Strong proficiency in CAD software, particularly AutoCAD (2D).
* Experience producing general arrangement and fabrication drawings.
* Working knowledge of additional platforms such as Revit, Civil 3D, MicroStation, SolidWorks, SketchUp, and NavisWorks (or similar).
* Good understanding of engineering and construction design principles.
* Ability to interpret technical specifications and convert them into clear, accurate drawings.
* Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
* Excellent attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
* Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate within a team environment.
