Our client is known for delivering high-quality developments across Hampshire and the surrounding areas. Due to ongoing expansion, they are now seeking an experienced Bookkeeper to join their finance team.

The role offers flexible working arrangements and can be structured as either full-time or part-time, with a minimum of 3 days per week.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Carry out day-to-day bookkeeping duties, including accounts payable/receivable, bank reconciliations, and maintaining the general ledger
2. Manage the monthly CIS (Construction Industry Scheme) returns, ensuring full compliance with HMRC guidelines
3. Process subcontractor payments and apply CIS deductions accurately
4. Prepare and file VAT returns on time and in line with current legislation
5. Assist with month-end close procedures and support the production of management accounts
6. Liaise with project managers to monitor job costs and contribute to accurate financial reporting
7. Maintain well-organised, up-to-date, and audit-ready financial records
