The successful candidate could be based in a country across the EMEA region, close to a PPG site.

As a Finance Business Partnering Sr Manager, you will guide financial support and strategic analysis for the region. Your mission is to evolve our finance department into a strategic engine, providing the commercial knowledge and insights necessary to navigate the EMEA region. You will be a critical business enabler, driving profitable organic sales and EBIT growth through impeccable partnership and data‑driven decision support.

You will report to the FP&A Regional Finance Director AC EMEA/AP.

You will be an individual contributor.

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic Partner: Work directly with leadership teams in Commercial, Supply Chain, and Marketing to achieve our goals.
  • Commercial Support: Identify opportunities to increase sales and margins by analyzing Pricing, Gross-to-Net (GtN), Rout to Market, and Marketing investments.
  • NPD & Innovation: Act as the finance lead for New Product Development (NPD), ensuring new projects are profitable and aligned with strategy.
  • Return on investment Focus: Implement a clear Return on investment‑driven approach for Advertising & Promotion (A&P) spend.
  • Complex Analysis: Manage the financial strategic analysis for a diverse footprint of over +25 countries, ensuring consistency and high‑quality insights across multiple currencies and regulatory environments.
  • Profitability Management: Promote the regional profitability agenda, performing "Cost to Serve" and portfolio reviews to find savings and margin gains.
  • Control & Planning: Manage Commercial/Functionals Capex, Overhead (OVH), and A&P controls to ensure budget accuracy and financial discipline.
  • Data & Digital: Improve reporting by using automation and tools like Power BI and Anaplan to turn data into relevant insights.

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Management, Economics, or similar; MBA or professional certification.
  • Experience: 10+ years of progressive finance experience in complex multinational corporations.
  • Proactive Leadership: who excels in a matrixed organization.
  • Consolidation Expertise: experience managing complex environments, specifically the analysis of 25+ countries with diverse business models and cultures.
  • Demonstrated ability to transition from operational reporting to strategic "value-added" analysis and "What-If" modeling.
  • Communication: fluent English with the ability to influence C-suite stakeholders and simplify complex regional financial movements.
  • Systems Proficiency: knowledge of SAP/Oracle, Hyperion (HFM), and BI/Data tools such as Power BI, Anaplan.
