Application Requirements
* Minimum 2:1 University Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or related field, with a desire to work as a Data Professional within a Finance team.
* Knowledge of Excel, SQL, and PowerBI. (Knowledge of Snowflake is advantageous).
* Awareness of Data Modelling.
* Right to work in the UK from the start date.
* Commuting distance to Bridgend and a desire to remain in the area long-term. Must be able to be on site at least three days a week. Relocation support is available for those not within commuting distance.

About The Role
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a global, blue-chip specialist insurance firm with a rapidly growing team in Bridgend, South Wales. We are seeking two Data Engineers to work in their Finance Data & Reporting (FD&R) Product Team. The successful candidates should have a background in Finance, Accounting, or Economics and a desire to build a career as a Data professional.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
* Engaging with Finance stakeholders, gathering requirements, and creating user stories
* Building and optimizing Power BI reports based on stakeholder needs
* Querying and transforming data from SQL Server and Snowflake
* Transforming data using PowerQuery
* Modeling data into STAR schemas
