Job Description
The Bookkeeper duties will include:
3. Accurately record and manage financial transactions, including accounts payable and receivable in both Sterling and Euros.
4. Prepare and maintain financial reports and ledgers.
5. Reconcile bank statements and ensure accuracy in financial records.
6. Assist the leadership team in the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts.
7. Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal policies.
8. Manage month-end and year-end close processes.
9. Manage the accounts assistant supporting with their personal development
10. Respond promptly to financial queries and provide accurate information as needed.
11. Adhoc duties as and when necessary
The Successful Applicant
A successful Bookkeeper should have:
12. A background in accounting or finance, ideally within the Engineering industry.
13. Proficiency in accounting software and financial systems.
14. Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
15. The ability to interpret and analyse financial data.
16. A solid understanding of financial regulations and compliance requirements.
17. Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
18. A proactive approach to problem-solving and process improvement.
