What you will do:
Manage and oversee allegations against professionals, volunteers, and foster carers working with children, ensuring fair and thorough resolutions.
Provide advice and guidance to employers and organisations on safeguarding allegations and thresholds.
Convene and chair LADO strategy meetings to coordinate effective multi-agency responses.
Ensure timely and proportionate investigations by liaising with police, social care, and regulatory bodies.
Qualifications / Person Specification:
Degree in Social Work (BA/MA or equivalent) or a relevant professional qualification.
Evidence of continued professional development.
Registered with Social Work England or the relevant professional body.
Strong knowledge of Working Together to Safeguard Children, Children Act 1989 and 2004, and Managing Allegations Against Adults procedures.
Enhanced DBS clearance is required.
