About The Role

As a Night Senior Care Assistant at Mountview, kindness will be at the core of everything you do. It influences every aspect of our care. Your responsibilities include planning and implementing care that promotes residents' security, dignity, and independence. You will get to know residents and their families to deliver personalized care plans. Leading a team of Care Assistants, you will uphold high standards of care and influence your team positively. Whether demonstrating how to use a walking frame, assisting at meal times, or communicating with families, kindness is paramount. You will also facilitate social and recreational activities and administer medication.
Maintaining accurate records and building strong team relationships are key duties. Safeguarding is everyone's responsibility; you should recognize signs of abuse, harm, or neglect and know the procedures to follow. All colleagues will attend safeguarding training and may undertake additional related training. You must be able to seek advice and escalate concerns appropriately.
