*M&E Project Manager*
*The Opportunity*
We are working with a well-established engineering services contractor that delivers high-quality mechanical and electrical solutions across the North West. With a diverse client base spanning healthcare, education, commercial, and residential projects, they are now seeking an experienced *M&E Project Manager* to join their expanding team.
This is a key role for someone who can take ownership of projects from inception through to completion, ensuring they are delivered safely, on time, and to the highest standards.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
* Manage the full lifecycle of M&E projects, from planning and procurement through to installation, commissioning, and handover.
* Lead site teams, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure smooth project delivery.
* Take responsibility for programme, budget, and quality performance, with regular reporting to senior management and stakeholders.
* Work closely with clients, consultants, and design teams to ensure technical and contractual requirements are met.
* Produce and maintain project documentation, including programmes, progress reports, and compliance paperwork.
* Carry out site inspections, resolve technical challenges, and implement effective solutions where required.
* Promote best practice in health & safety and ensure all works comply with industry standards and regulations.
* Provide guidance and mentoring to junior engineers and project staff.
What We’re Looking For
* Proven experience delivering *M&E projects* within building services, construction, or engineering sectors.
* Strong technical knowledge in either *mechanical* (HVAC, heating, plumbing) or *electrical* (installations, testing, commissioning) systems.
* Excellent organisational, leadership, and communication skills.
* Commercially astute, with the ability to manage budgets, resources, and subcontractors effectively.
* Proficient with project management tools and Microsoft Office.
* Full UK driving licence and flexibility to travel to project sites across the North West.
