The Skye Centre provides high-quality, individualized services including therapeutic, recreational, social, vocational, educational, and physical health programs for patients. An opportunity has arisen for a Registered Mental Health Nurse based within the Gardens Department, with flexibility to work across various activity areas within the Skye Centre.
The successful candidate will work as part of the Skye Centre team, alongside senior nursing staff, a Specialist Occupational Therapist, and Rehabilitation Instructors. The role involves working independently in partnership with patients and interdisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality care in a secure environment through assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care processes, ensuring safety.
Experience and Qualifications
Applicants should have professional/clinical knowledge gained through training to degree level. Registration with the NMC on the single professional register for Mental Health Nursing and/or Learning Disability Nursing is required.
