The Sales Administrator will play a crucial role in supporting the sales team by managing administrative tasks, ensuring efficient sales processes, and providing excellent customer service. This position requires a strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to communicate effectively with both internal teams and customers.
The role requires close collaboration with various other team members to ensure the smooth running of tasks and new company initiatives as part of a growing business.
The role is remote but may have occasional requirement to visit the office at our Hemel Hempstead location.
Role Responsibilities
* Manage and maintain the customer database, ensuring all information is accurate and up to date.
* Manage internal records for vendors and suppliers ensuring key information is kept up to date and shared with the relevant teams.
* Assist with onboarding customers providing the relevant information.
* Assist sales with PQQ and tender submissions.
* Generate sales reports and assist in analysing sales performance metrics.
* Support in the organization of sales meetings and customer events.
* Collaborate with other departments (e.g., marketing, finance) to streamline sales processes.
* Other reasonable duties maybe requested or assigned.
Role Requirements
* Proven experience in an administrative support role, preferably within a sales environment.
* Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiarity with CRM software.
* Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
* Strong written and verbal communication skills.
* Attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
* Self-starter with initiative to highlight process improvement.
* Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
