Your new roleAs a Learning Support Assistant, you'll work closely with teachers to support pupils with their learning, both in and out of the classroom. You'll help create engaging, accessible lessons, assist students with additional needs, and foster a safe and positive space for every child to thrive. What you'll need to succeed
* A Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent) is highly desirable.
* Experience supporting children with SEND, particularly on a 1:1 basis, including needs such as autism, ADHD, speech and language difficulties, or SEMH (Social, Emotional and Mental Health) challenges
* Strong understanding of inclusive education practices and differentiated learning strategies
* Familiarity with EHCPs (Education, Health and Care Plans) and how to support their implementation in the classroom
* Confidence in managing behaviour positively, and supporting emotional regulation and social interaction
