Job Purpose To deliver high-quality, engaging Mathematics lessons that enable students to develop strong numeracy skills, problem-solving abilities, and a love of learning. The Maths Teacher will ensure students of all abilities achieve their potential and will contribute to the wider life of the school through enrichment and support programmes. Key Responsibilities Teaching & Learning Plan and deliver Mathematics lessons across KS3 and KS4 (and KS5 if applicable), in line with the National Curriculum and exam specifications. Use a variety of teaching methods to engage, challenge, and inspire students. Differentiate work to meet the needs of all learners, including those with SEN or EAL. Assess, record, and report on students’ progress, providing constructive feedback. Promote high standards of numeracy and problem-solving across the school. Curriculum & Assessment Contribute to the design and development of schemes of work, assessments, and resources in Mathematics. Prepare pupils for internal and external assessments (GCSE, A-Level, or equivalent). Ensure lessons are inclusive, stretch the most able, and support those who need additional help.
