Senior Maintenance Engineer (Electrical Bias) Birmingham | Permanent | Double Day Shifts Up to £50k Benefits Immediate Start Available A global engineering and manufacturing company—a first-tier supplier of key components for the commercial vehicle, off-highway, and heavy industrial sectors—is seeking a Senior Maintenance Engineer (Electrical Bias) to support its world-class production facility. You’ll work with a small team of engineers and play a key role in ensuring minimal production downtime through effective maintenance, fault finding, and continuous improvement of advanced manufacturing systems. Key Responsibilities: * Provide breakdown support and preventative maintenance across electrical and mechanical systems * Lead and support Maintenance and TPM Engineers * Fault find and repair on CNC machines, robotics (Fanuc), PLCs, HMIs, and servo drives * Support new machinery installations and upgrades * Maintain accurate job sheets and ensure maintenance records are up to date * Promote health & safety, 5C, and TPM best practices ✅ Requirements: * HNC in Electrical/Electronic Engineering (or higher) * Minimum 5 years maintenance engineering experience (electrical bias) * Strong knowledge of: * Electrical fault finding & diagnostics * PLCs (programming & troubleshooting) * Fanuc robots, servo motors & drives * CNC machinery (mechanical and electrical aspects) * Ability to read electrical drawings * Excellent communication and problem-solving skills * Flexible to work double day shift pattern support weekends/shutdowns What’s on Offer: * Competitive salary & benefits package including shift allowance and regular weekend overtime * Work in a modern, high-tech manufacturing environment * Global business with real career progression opportunities * Involved in cutting-edge technology and process improvements Apply Now!
