Smile Education is looking for passionate and dedicated Nursery Teachers to join welcoming and supportive primary settings in Stockton-on-Tees.
This is a fantastic opportunity for enthusiastic early years professionals who understand how young children learn, grow and thrive. You will play a key role in creating safe, nurturing and stimulating learning environments where children can develop socially, emotionally and academically.
We are looking for teachers who place child development at the heart of everything they do, who understand the importance of positive relationships, and who can create classrooms where children feel valued, confident and ready to flourish.
The daily rate for this role is £140 – £200 per day depending on experience.
Role
* Plan and deliver engaging learning in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)
* Support children’s development through both structured teaching and child-led play
* Observe, assess and record children’s progress
* Promote early literacy, communication, numeracy and social development
* Create a safe, inclusive and stimulating classroom environment
* Encourage positive behaviour, independence, resilience and confidence
* Build strong relationships with pupils, families and colleagues
What We’re Looking For
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential
* Recent experience teaching within Early Years
* Strong knowledge of the EYFS curriculum and child development
* Excellent classroom practice and behaviour management
* A genuine passion for helping children become curious, confident and independent learners
* The ability to work collaboratively with colleagues, parents and support staff
