The Role
As General Manager, your responsibilities will include:
* Leading, inspiring, and developing a high-performing team across all departments
* Overseeing daily restaurant operations to ensure exceptional service and efficiency
* Driving sales and profitability while maintaining cost controls and budgets
* Implementing and upholding high food quality, health, and safety standards
* Creating a positive and engaging environment for both staff and guests
* Managing stock levels, supplier relationships, and inventory control
* Monitoring customer satisfaction and implementing necessary improvements
* Ensuring compliance with all licensing, health & safety, and food hygiene regulations, including UK food safety qualifications
Requirements
* Proven experience as a General Manager or Senior Manager in a high-volume restaurant environment
* Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
* Ability to manage and motivate large teams in a fast-paced setting
* A passion for hospitality and delivering exceptional guest experiences
* Excellent financial acumen, with experience in budgeting, cost control, and performance analysis
* A hands-on approach with a keen attention to detail
* Knowledge of food safety and health regulations in the UK
