GXO are currently looking for a Planning Analyst to join the Mountain Warehouse operation in Peterborough, where youll support the planning and training function in providing effective short and long-term planning of staffing, volumes, and peak recruitment across the whole site. This is a full time, permanent role. Youll work Monday to Friday 10am to 6pm. Pay, benefits and more: Youll be paid a salary of up to £27,000 per annum and 25 days annual leave (plus bank holidays). Youll also have access to our MyBenefits platform offering a variety of high street discounts, a cycle to work scheme, cashback cards, a saving scheme and much more What youll do on a typical day: Youll deliver proactive support in maintaining the supply and delivery of planning to the site, by understanding the key variables that impact the site and providing visual information and reports to highlight these for the senior team Work closely with the Planning Manager to ensure the smooth operation of all planning, and contributing to the team achieving and exceeding KPI target expectations with regards to resource planning Facilitate timely communications with the agency regarding operational requirements, recruitment, and training plans Oversee the quality of operational input into various planning and reporting tools such as rotas, timesheets, and reports What you need to succeed at GXO: Experience in demand, capacity, and resource planning, preferably in third party logistics or a similar retail operations environment Confident communication skills as youll be liaising with multiple functions across the business Youll need to work well on your own initiative, taking responsibility for processes and your workload Managing change and changing priorities will not phase you this is logistics after all We engineer faster, smarter, leaner supply chains.
