Your new role
1. Lead and develop a collaborative, high‑performing procurement team.
2. Create and deliver category strategies for consumables, hardware, and indirect spend.
3. Build strong supplier partnerships through effective scouting, negotiation, onboarding, andpliance with tender requirements.
4. Set and track KPIs to ensure quality,pliance, and strong supplier performance.
5. Manage risk and quality processes, including assessments, reviews, and clear escalation routes.
6. Overseeplexmercial negotiations with cross‑functional teams, ensuring ethical andpliant sourcing.
7. Improve Source‑to‑Pay processes, using digital tools (, SAP) and working closely with Shared Services.
8. Use data and spend analytics to support planning, sustainability, and investment decisions.
What you'll need to succeed
9. A degree in Engineering, Business, Science, or similar; postgraduate qualifications desirable.
10. Strong people‑management experience and a track record of developing high‑performing teams.
11. Skilled negotiation and stakeholder experience ideally within diagnostics, MedTech, healthcare, or otherplex regulated sectors.
12. Confidence working with public‑sector procurement frameworks and tendering environments.What you'll get in return
