What does the role involve
As an Occupational Health Technician, you'll be part of a team that helps organisations look after the health and wellbeing of their employees. You'll drive a Mobile Testing Unit to client sites to deliver a variety of health assessments that support early detection of health issues and promote long-term wellbeing at work.
Your day-to-day might include:
* Carrying out health surveillance tests such as: Audiometry (hearing tests) / Spirometry (lung function tests) / Skin prick allergy testing / Vision screening / Venepuncture (blood draws) - they'll give you full training
* Preparing and maintaining equipment to ensure everything runs smoothly and safely
* Identifying results that need follow-up and escalating them to our clinical team
* Supporting health promotion initiatives, like wellness events or wellbeing campaigns
* Helping to improve processes, ensuring we keep our service efficient, effective, and patient-focused
* Completing clinical paperwork and updating health records accurately
No two days are quite the same. You'll be working independently much of the time, so being confident, organised and self-motivated is key. Throughout your role, you'll be supported by a friendly, experienced clinical team every step of the way.

Who they're looking for
This role is perfect for you if you:
* Have a degree in Sports Science, Physiology, Health & Exercise Science, or a related field
* Have a full clean UK driver's licence, able to drive and park a mobile unit at home. A special licence is not required
* Are a great communicator with excellent organisational skills
* Are hands-on, motivated, and excited about improving health outcomes in the workplace
* Want to build a career with purpose and progression
Bonus points if you have experience as an EMT, Occupational Health Technician, or in nursing, but it's not essential. Our client provides full training!
