About us
The Information Services Division (ISD) is the primary provider of IT services to UCL. We support and enhance learning, teaching, research and administrative processes by providing information- and technology-related services to over 50,000 staff and students of UCL and associated institutions.
Within ISD, this post is in Digital Education, UCL's hub for supporting, exploiting and enhancing the use of technology in education.
About the role
This vacancy is based in the Support team which supports all the Product teams, including Moodle VLE, Lecturecast capture system, Turnitin and WISEflow for assessment.
The role will focus on managing Service requests and Incidents from a variety of user groups, and liaising with the wider Digital Education team to support the continuous development of our services. The potholder will be expected to provide guidance and support to students, academics and administrators, and prioritise different requests and incidents
About you
The postholder will have experience in supporting multiple services, in a HE environment or equivalent, complex organisation. They will be familiar with education technologies and have a general understanding of underlying pedagogic principles.
They will be expected to provide guidance and support to students, academics and administrators, and prioritise different requests and incidents. Problem solving and communications skills are essential, and experience of working in an agile product environment would be an advantage.
