Role Overview:
* Location: UK (onsite in secure environments)

What You’ll Be Doing:
* Lead the design, implementation, and support of secure network solutions across LAN and WAN environments
* Configure and optimise routing protocols including OSPF and BGP
* Implement and manage VPNs and advanced network security solutions
* Translate high-level and low-level designs into robust, scalable configurations
* Design and support data centre networking architectures (Spine/Leaf, EVPN, BGP, Geneve)
* Troubleshoot complex network issues across highly secure environments
* Work closely with architects and cross-functional teams to deliver mission-critical systems
* Drive innovation through lab work, proof of concepts, and new technology adoption
* Apply and advocate for secure-by-design principles throughout delivery
Main Skills Needed:
* Strong experience with WAN architecture and enterprise networking
* Deep knowledge of routing protocols (OSPF, BGP)
* Expertise in VPN technologies, IKEv2, and network security infrastructure
* Proven experience with firewall configuration across multi-vendor environments
* Data centre networking experience (Spine/Leaf, EVPN, BGP, Geneve)
* Familiarity with automation tools such as Ansible or Terraform
* Experience with NSX, HAIPE, and whitebox networking technologies (desirable)
* Strong ability to produce and work from detailed technical documentation
* Comfortable working independently in secure, restricted environments
* Cisco CCNP (or equivalent hands-on experience)
