About the role
Working closely with network management and operational teams to undertake inspections in accordance with highways and environment maintenance plans and ensuring defects are rectified in accordance with prescribed timescales. Issuing of informal notices relating to overgrown vegetation. Further, the role will train new and existing staff in survey methods, deal with the general public and liaise with utility companies on matters concerning remedial action on works.

About you
We are looking for you to bring:
1. Proven track record of working in maintenance, surveys and inspections, either in office or on works.
2. Demonstrates an ability to read and work with maps
3. Demonstrates the ability to effectively manage and prioritise workload in a pressurised environment, despite interruptions and obstacles.
