Location: BN3 3LW, Hove, East Sussex, South East, UKWe are recruiting an Engineering Manager for a well-established manufacturing and production business with two sites in Brighton & Hove. As the Engineering Manager youll report to the Head of Engineering to ensure the smooth running of all production, manufacturing and engineering operations, adhering to GMP and HSE standards and driving continuous improvement.The Engineering Manager will be involved in:Ensuring premises, equipment and systems comply with Health & Safety regulationsCollaboration with production to achieve output, productivity, and machine efficiency / maintenance goalsAnalysing equipment failures and implementing corrective and preventative measurements alongside the maintenance engineersWeekly reporting, communicating goals and achievements and motivating staff in a culture of continuous improvementManaging equipment and plant calibration / maintenance programmes, overseeing contractors & service providers where necessaryDelivering capital projects around company assetsSkills & experience required: Youll need a strong all-round engineering background gained within production or manufacturing environmentsStrong knowledge of GMP, HSE and Six Sigma or similarExperience delivering regulatory risk assessmentsGood all-round manufacturing, plant and facilities maintenance management experienceSalary, hours and company benefits:£55,000 to £65,0009am to 5pm Monday to FridayHoliday allowance up to 26 days holiday (rises to with service) plus bank holidaysPension schemeLife assuranceCycle to work schemeHealth planRetail discounts portalEnhanced maternity / paternitySubsidised gym membershipFree parkingWild Recruitment Ltd T/A First Recruitment Services is acting as an employment agency in relation to this vacancy.
