Responsibilities and duties
* Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the Computerised Maintenance Management System (CMMS), including Superuser administration, preparation of delegated work packs, scheduling, and inventory control.
* Coordinate, schedule, and track all routine and preventive maintenance activities.
* Collaborate with the team and management to plan outages in line with the business plan.
* Develop and implement an inspection and monitoring program to ensure equipment and plant performance is optimized, reducing the risk of incidents or failures.
* Organising and executing maintenance activities to ensure compliance with statutory regulations.
* Administer and maintain the preventative maintenance schedule
Professional qualifications
We are looking for someone with the following:
* Ideally have an NVQ Level 3 qualification in a relevant engineering discipline such as Mechanical Engineering
* A health and safety qualification such as an IOSH will be highly advantageous
Personal skills, prior experience and knowledge
The Maintenance Supervisor role would suit someone who has:
* Prior hands-on maintenance experience working with Mechanical, Electrical or C&I equipment
* Excellent knowledge of CMMS systems including implementation and development
* Prior experience working in heavy engineering environments such as Power, Steel, Cement, Pharmaceutical, COMAH, Paper Mills, etc
* Royal/Merchant Navy Marine Engineers will also be considered for this opportunity
