Join to apply for the Head of Accounting (US) role at Bragg We are seeking an ambitious and experienced Head of Accounting (US) to join a growing, dynamic global business in the online gaming industry.
This role offers hybrid working with 3 days in the London or Malta office and 2 days remote.
Assist the Group Financial Controller and Head of FP&A in preparing monthly management accounts for US subsidiaries.
Review US subsidiary bookkeeping.
Prepare accounting schedules, bank reconciliations, accruals, revenue recognition to IFRS standards.
Collaborate with Group FP&A for P&L analysis and variance reports.
Prepare management accounts including P&L, balance sheet, cash flow.
Coordinate with auditors for quarterly reviews and annual audits.
Develop and maintain internal controls for asset safeguarding and accurate reporting.
Ensure SOX compliance and manage internal controls over financial reporting.
Implement and update accounting policies and procedures.
Projects (Initially)
Enhance financial reporting, internal controls, and operational efficiency through EPR upgrades.
Implement a consolidation tool for real-time financial data integration.
Oversee accounting software and system enhancements.
Manage ad hoc finance and operational projects.
Accounting qualification (e.g., ACCA, CIMA, ICAEW).
Experience in financial reporting, preferably for listed companies.
Deep knowledge of SOX, IFRS, US GAAP, and tax compliance.
Experience with tax reconciliation, audits, and interim reviews.
Ability to work remotely with teams in the UK and North America.
Experience with Dynamics 365 Business Central / Navision, QuickBooks, Power BI, or Tableau.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.
