Pay starts from £12.45 per hour, increasing to £13.66 for stores within the M25. Additional payments may apply depending on location.
It is our policy to offer new colleagues a minimum of 16 guaranteed hours per week. If you would like to work fewer hours (minimum of 12), we have opportunities available and would love to hear from you.
The availability window shows the periods during the week when we would like you to be available to work. We will schedule your contracted hours within these times, and you will have 3 weeks' notice of your shifts. We are happy to support flexibility, so if your available times match closely but not exactly, we would still love to hear from you.

Responsibilities
* Know your customers and serve them with passion and pride; provide great natural service.
* Be knowledgeable about products and services in the store.
* Work across service, picking, and replenishment areas as required.
* Apply training to work safely, effectively, and to serve customers brilliantly.
* Make decisions that are right for customers and deliver store routines that meet customer needs.
* Participate in seasonal, community and charity events to create an inclusive atmosphere.
* Be aware of store performance and contribute to driving service, sales, reducing waste, shrinkage, and profitability.
* Handle products with care to maintain quality and ensure they reach customers in good condition.
* Represent Tesco’s values, make everyone feel welcome, and follow policies.
* Occasionally you may be required to accept deliveries into the store.
