Role Responsibilities
* Test, troubleshoot, repair, and modify electronic components, parts, and equipment to maintain existing and new products.
* Build and assemble new systems.
* Occasionally travel to customer sites to provide support, assisting senior Service Technicians.
* Deliver high-quality customer service.
This role offers a supportive team environment, full training, and opportunities for progression to Service Technician 2 and 3.
Compensation and Benefits
* Salary starting between £24K and £26K, with annual reviews.

Main Responsibilities
* Test faulty equipment to diagnose malfunctions using test equipment and software.
* Demonstrate proper use of equipment and analyze problems.
* Inspect components for defects and proper assembly.
* Verify customer equipment for compliance and consult with clients and engineers.
* Examine work orders and communicate with operators to identify issues.
* Complete job tickets and maintain records.
* Prepare management reports and advise on customer satisfaction and product performance.
* Maintain equipment logs.
* Study blueprints, schematics, and manuals to troubleshoot issues.
* Assist other departments with equipment problems.
* Recommend changes to circuitry or installation to improve maintenance.
* Adjust, calibrate, and modify circuitry, recording effects on performance.
Minimum Requirements
* Ability to acquire basic product knowledge.
* Ability to use hand tools for shipments.
* Good verbal skills, proofreading, editing, spelling, and vocabulary.
* Well organized.
Experience
* Associate's degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school, with 1-2 years related experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
