PURPOSE OF THE ROLE: The Venue Finder will have a proven track record in UK & International venue sourcing and client management. This role is ideal for someone with a deep understanding of the events industry and a passion for finding innovative and unique venues. A strong, existing network of venue contacts globally is key. The Venue Finder will lead the venue search process, negotiate contracts, and act as a key point of contact for clients and venues, ensuring seamless delivery of exceptional service. Extensive experience in venue finding within an agency, venue, or event-focused environment. ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES : Venue Sourcing & Negotiation: Conduct detailed venue searches, negotiate competitive commission rates, and arrange venue show rounds. Leverage extensive industry knowledge to recommend innovative and unique venues aligned with client briefs. Build and maintain strong relationships with venue contacts to ensure preferential terms and seamless communication. Client Management: Act as the main point of contact for clients, managing queries and providing expert advice on venue options. Attend client meetings with or without an event producer, capturing requirements and providing tailored proposals. Deliver post-event follow-ups to secure future opportunities and maintain client relationships. Proposal Development & Coordination: Prepare comprehensive proposals, incorporating creative solutions and thorough details of recommended venues. Collaborate with event producers to align venue options with event concepts and client objectives. Manage venue contracts, ensuring all details align with client requirements and business standards. Team Support & Development: Share expertise and venue insights with team members to enhance overall performance and knowledge. Industry Engagement: Attend trade shows, FAM trips, and networking events to stay informed about industry trends and build relationships. Continuously update knowledge of venues and destinations to provide the highest standard of service This list is not exhaustive, and you will be required to undertake other duties as directed by your manager. GENERAL REQUIREMENTS : Current driving licence Ability to travel around the UK & overseas Always comply with the company code of conduct. Ability to work as part of a diverse team with colleagues from different viewpoints, cultures and countries.
