Senior Radiographer / Mammographer
Location: Lyca Health Orpington
Hours: 40 Hours Per Week
Shifts: Between Monday and Sunday 07.30 – 20.30
Contract: Permanent
Starting Salary: £40,000-£42,500 per annum (depends on experience)

You will work on rotation carrying out diagnostic imaging in a range of modalities including Mammography, MRI, CT, X-Ray and Theatre
Role Responsibilities
As a Senior Radiographer you will:
* Undertake Screening and symptomatic mammograms
* Undertake MRI CT, general x-ray and Theatre activity as required.
* Act as an Operator under the IR(ME)R Radiation Regulations and assess the clinical justification of referrals.
* Actively participate in quality improvements and audits.
* Mentor junior staff and deputise for the Lead Radiographer as required.
Person Specification
Essential
* Valid HCPC registration.
* Postgraduate Certificate in Mammography
* Have extensive post qualification experience including proficiency in Mammography.
* Have evidence of continuous professional development.
* Minimum 2 years’ experience in MRI
* Have excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Desirable
* Have post qualification experience in CT/XR/Theatre
* Have experience working on Philips and GE Imaging equipment.
