About the Role: To support the Regional Director in delivering outstanding outcomes across a group of nurseries. This role provides operational leadership for assigned nurseries, ensuring compliance, consistency, and strong support for Nursery Managers. Regional Managers focus on day-to-day operations, freeing the Regional Director to concentrate on strategic and external-facing priorities. Support Nursery Managers to deliver quality improvements, uphold safeguarding standards, and manage compliance and risk effectively. Work with Nursery Managers to achieve occupancy and budget targets, using data to track performance and report key insights to the Regional Director. Coach and develop Nursery Managers, identify future leaders, and support professional growth through effective training and performance management. Embed new systems and processes, driving consistency and continuous improvement across all nurseries. Champion Tops’ values, sustainability ethos, and brand standards while fostering positive relationships with local authorities, communities, and parents. Maintain high standards of health, safety, and facilities, providing flexible support through regular nursery visits. Provide accurate operational updates, share insights with senior leaders, and apply sector best practice to enhance nursery performance. What we are looking for? Early Years Professional (or working towards this) A minimum of 3 years good Nursery Manager experience, Ability to work on own initiative Experience/knowledge of OFSTED Inspection. Basic Skills at L3 or GCSE Maths and English at Grade C or above. Leadership and Management qualification. Senior leadership team experience. Good understanding of operational compliance, safeguarding, and EYFS. Multi-site leadership experience (desirable). Financial and commercial acumen. Excellent communication and influencing skills. Full, valid driving licence. Important Safeguarding Information Because this role involves regulated activity with children, all candidates must: Hold (or be willing to obtain) an enhanced DBS check registered on the Update Service.
