Are you a confident and client-focused Commercial Account Executive looking to take the next step in your broking career?
We're partnering with a respected and expanding insurance broker that's on the lookout for an experienced Account Executive to join their commercial team. This is a fantastic opportunity to manage a diverse portfolio of mid-market clients across a range of industries - from manufacturing and construction to professional services and retail.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Manage and grow a portfolio of commercial clients, ensuring retention and satisfaction
2. Develop strong, long-term relationships with decision-makers and stakeholders
3. Identify and pursue new business opportunities through networking and referrals
4. Work with internal Account Handlers to deliver seamless, professional service
5. Design tailored insurance programmes that meet each client's unique risk profile
6. Negotiate with insurers and underwriters to secure competitive terms
What we're looking for:
7. Proven experience in a Commercial Account Executive or Senior Account Handler role
8. Strong knowledge of UK commercial insurance products (property, liability, packages, etc.)
9. A consultative, solutions-driven mindset and excellent communication skills
10. Comfortable handling your own book or developing new business
11. Cert CII (or working towards) preferred - support available if not already qualified
