Overview
Quality Officer, South Wales, £35,000 - £39,000. SRG are looking for a Quality Officer to join a leading provider of nutraceutical products based in South Wales. Established for over 30 years, the company develop & manufacturer an innovative range of products that are sold globally, and support ongoing research & development of products that can improve health, support other treatments & alleviate side effects.
Responsibilities
* Leading a small team of Quality Technicians and working closely with the Quality Manager to ensure strict quality standards are maintained.
* Overseeing the inspection, testing and approval of products to ensure safety, quality and timely release.
* Leading investigations into OOS, complaints and non-conformance.
* Monitor & analyse & report quality KPIs.
* Oversee Environmental monitoring & water testing programmes.
* Support internal audits & drive continuous improvement activities.
Requirements
* Degree or similar qualification in a relevant scientific subject.
* Proven experience in a similar quality focused position within Pharmaceutical or Food manufacturing environments.
* Knowledge of MHRA / GMP / or BRC compliance
* Confident in leading a small team.
* Experience in supporting or leading internal audits.
