Quantity Surveyor - Refurb & New Build | Brentford | Permanent | Sep Start The Role: This is a hands-on Quantity Surveyor role where you'll be trusted to take ownership of your own projects. You'll play a key role in managing costs, keeping packages tight, and making sure jobs stack up commercially from start to finish. Perfect for someone who enjoys responsibility, knows how to run projects independently, and wants to work on meaningful, technically detailed schemes - not just push paper. The Projects: • Design & build and traditional contracts across the public and private sectors • Education schemes (live schools and nursery extensions) • Healthcare and community refurbishments • New build residential and mixed-use schemes up to £8m • Refurbishments in occupied buildings with tight access/logistics • Mixture of local authority, housing association, and private clients What they're looking for: • Solid experience as a Quantity Surveyor (able to run your own jobs) • Strong commercial and contractual knowledge (JCT, D&B and traditional) • Confident with CVRs, subcontractor accounts, and cost reporting • Experience across both refurbishment and new build projects The Company: They're a long-established, family-run main contractor who've quietly delivered high-quality refurbishments and small-scale new builds in London for 40 years.
