The role requires on-site support at our unique facility to manage air-gapped infrastructure. How you'll support us
* Provide reliable third-line support, resolving incidents and troubleshooting issues within our secure infrastructure.
* Maintain and administer Microsoft Windows Server environments, including Active Directory.
* Support and enhance VMware-based virtual infrastructure.
* Manage backup and recovery processes using Veeam, ensuring data resilience and business continuity.
* Keep technical documentation up to date.
* Contribute to service stability through proactive maintenance, system improvements, and adherence to change control processes.
We're looking for a dependable, hands-on Senior IT Systems Engineer
to help keep our secure environments running efficiently. This varied role focuses on virtualization and Windows Server technologies, involving third-line issue resolution, infrastructure improvements, and projects. Ideal candidates are calm under pressure, methodical, and eager to make a meaningful impact in a high-assurance setting.
Minimum Requirements
* Proven experience in server infrastructure support and administration.
* Solid knowledge of VMware technologies (vSphere, ESXi, vCenter).
* Hands-on experience with Microsoft Windows Server, Active Directory, Group Policy.
Desirable Experience
* Exposure to HP infrastructure (e.g., Synergy, OneView, SAN).
* SharePoint 2016 support and administration.
* Familiarity with Windows Server roles such as DFS, DHCP, DNS, Clustering.
* Experience with Veeam backup and replication tools.
* Understanding of ITIL principles and service management.
* Basic Linux knowledge.
