MEDICAL RECEPTIONIST
2 x PART TIME POSITIONS 15 hours each
Balfron Health Centre is looking to recruit two part time medical receptionists.
Applicants must be enthusiastic, self‑motivated and be able to work in a fast‑paced environment. Applicants should have a good standard of education, excellent communication and IT skills and should have the initiative to work on their own as well as part of a team. A flexible approach to work is essential, as is the ability to prioritise your workload around the demands of a busy reception area. Ability and willingness to cover holidays and sickness within the team is essential.
Duties include dealing carefully and sensitively with patients at Reception and on the telephone, making appointments, result handling, dealing with general enquiries, processing repeat prescription requests, scanning clinical correspondence, dealing with delegated tasks from clinical staff and general administration. Previous experience of working within a medical environment would be preferred but not essential as full training will be given. Experience working within a customer or patient facing setting is desirable. Salary dependant on experience.
