A well-established and forward-thinking firm based in Leeds is currently recruiting for an Accounts Manager to join their collaborative and growing team on a permanent basis. On offer is a competitive salary of up to £55,000, depending on experience, along with an attractive benefits package and opportunities for career progression.\n\n As an Accounts Manager, you will:\n\nManage a portfolio of incorporated businesses, overseeing all compliance matters including annual accounts and corporation tax returns\n\nAct as the primary point of contact for clients, nurturing strong and long-lasting relationships\n\nSupport personal tax planning for individuals within your portfolio\n\nSupervise and mentor junior team members, conducting regular reviews and training\n\nOversee workflow and ensure deadlines and key performance indicators are met\n\nContribute to the wider practice by managing billing, WIP, and identifying opportunities for cross-servicing and business development\n\nChampion the firm’s services both internally and externally\n\nTo be successful in this Accounts Manager role, you will ideally have:\n\nFull ACA or ACCA qualification\n\nStrong background in practice-based accounting, including experience with incorporated and unincorporated clients\n\nFamiliarity with systems such as IRIS, Sage, and Xero (advantageous but not essential)\n\nExcellent people management and organisational skills\n\nA proactive, solutions-led approach with a passion for developing people and processes\n\nThis fantastic opportunity is easily commutable from Wakefield, Bradford, Harrogate, Huddersfield, Halifax, York, and surrounding areas.
