Business Development Representative (BDR) Company : Online Lubricants Location : Hybrid – work from home 2/3 days a week. Office location: Waltham Abbey. Type : Full-time, Monday – Friday Salary : £25,000 - £27,000 basic Commission We’re a fast-growing oil supplier serving businesses that rely on high-quality lubricants to keep their operations running smoothly. Our customers range from workshops and fleets to large industrial operations — and demand is growing fast. About the Role We’re looking for a driven, confident, and commercially minded Business Development Representative to help accelerate our growth. This is a front-line sales role focused on generating new business opportunities, building relationships, and fueling our sales pipeline. If you’re someone who loves the thrill of opening doors, starting conversations, and turning prospects into long-term customers — you’ll fit right in. What You’ll Be Doing Identifying and researching potential B2B customers across key industries Proactively reaching out via phone, email, and LinkedIn to generate new leads Qualifying inbound and outbound prospects and booking meetings for senior sales staff Building strong product knowledge to confidently position our lubricant solutions Maintaining accurate records in the CRM and tracking pipeline activity Following up consistently to nurture prospects through the early sales stages What We’re Looking For Must-have: Previous experience in sales, business development, or lead generation Confident communicator who is comfortable making outbound calls Self-motivated and target-driven Strong organisational skills and attention to detail Comfortable using CRM systems and sales tools Full and clean driving licence Nice-to-have (but not essential): Experience selling industrial, automotive, or technical products Knowledge of lubricants, oils, or related sectors Experience of selling to construction, transport, waste & recycling or power generation industries What You’ll Get Clear progression path into Business Development Manager Supportive team environment with ongoing training 6-month sales and product training programme 21 days annual leave increasing 1 day a year per year of service (up to 30 days) Opportunity to join a growing company where your impact is visible Workwear Ad-hoc bonuses Free tea/coffee/kitchen provisions Company events Referral scheme Oil and other products for personal car Why Join Us?
