The Role… As a senior member of our Group Product Acquisition Team, the Content and Acquisitions Lead will play a pivotal role in global content acquisition and business development strategy. This key role focuses on identifying, evaluating, and securing high-potential content partnerships across all business models. You will lead efforts to source and negotiate publishing deals, build strategic relationships with developers and partners, and ensure alignment with our commercial goals. This is a high-impact role that shapes the future of our content portfolio and contributes directly to our growth and success. What You Will Be Doing… Content Acquisition Strategy: Develop and execute an acquisition strategy that spans multiple business models and platforms. Identify content opportunities that align with our publishing roadmap and commercial objectives. Business Development: Build and maintain strong relationships with developers, studios, and platform partners. Represent the company at industry events and lead outreach efforts to secure new publishing opportunities. Deal Structuring & Negotiation: Lead negotiations on publishing agreements, revenue share models, and strategic partnerships. Ensure deals are commercially sound and aligned with long-term business goals. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with marketing, product, finance, and production teams to evaluate opportunities and ensure seamless onboarding and integration of new content. Market Intelligence & Portfolio Planning: Stay ahead of industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitor activity. Use data and insights to inform acquisition decisions and portfolio diversification. Reporting: Prepare and present acquisition proposals and performance reports to the Group Product Acquisition Director. Legal & Contracts: Work closely with legal teams to draft, review, and manage a wide range of agreements, including publishing, licensing, and partnership contracts. Ensure all deals comply with regulatory, IP, and contractual obligations. Act as a key liaison between legal and business teams to streamline contract workflows and mitigate risk. What We Want to See… Proven experience in a senior Game Scout / business development role within the video games industry. Strong commercial acumen and negotiation skills, with a track record of closing high-value deals. Deep understanding of various publishing models and monetisation strategies. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. Passion for games and a strong network within the global game community.
