Description
ASA are currently working alongside a large-scale client in the public sector who are seeking a Systems Administrator with extensive experience working with complex systems and databases to join their dynamic team.
The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining and optimising our HR and OD systems, ensuring their effectiveness and reliability to support the delivery of high-quality services within the organisation.
Key Responsibilities:
· Manage and maintain complex systems and databases to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
· Utilise advanced Microsoft Office skills to analyse and manipulate data effectively.
· Administer HR and Payroll, Performance Management, Time Recording, and Document Management Systems.
· Demonstrate proficiency in interpreting and manipulating mathematical and logical formulae.
· Provide support for system integration and troubleshooting, ensuring seamless operation.
· Deliver training sessions to system users, ensuring they can effectively utilise system functions.
· Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify system improvement opportunities and implement innovative solutions.
· Demonstrate a customer-focused approach in all interactions, prioritising the needs of stakeholders.
· Exhibit innovative thinking and adaptability to manage change effectively and
· Work effectively with others to achieve common goals and deliver results and provide leadership and mentor ship to junior team members.
Requirements:
· Previous experience in systems administration or a related role, particularly focusing on managing complex systems and databases.
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications such as Excel, Word, and PowerPoint at an advanced level.
· Strong numeracy skills with the ability to interpret and manipulate mathematical and logical formulae.
· Working knowledge of HR and Payroll, Performance Management, Time Recording, and Document Management Systems.
· Demonstrated organisational competencies, including customer focus, collaboration, delivering results, innovative thinking, managing change, and team leadership.
· Commitment to maintaining the highest levels of confidentiality in all aspects of the role.
