Working predominantly within one of our six regions, you will be utilised to cover any vacancies, holiday, training, etc. of our branch lorry loader and tanker drivers. This is a varied role that will require nights away and weekend travel, depending on appointment.
ALLMI D1+E OR CPCS REQUIRED
As a Logistics Relief Driver, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our fleet maintains full utilisation, transporting our modular structures, and temporary storage & accommodation units on one of our fleet of over 70 lorry loader cranes. You will also be required to work within our Tanker team servicing our customer's welfare requirements.

Executing safe, efficient transport deliveries that minimise risks and maximise cost-effectiveness.
Driving effective communication and transparency by ensuring all incidents, near misses, and unsafe acts are reported.
Optimise loading and unloading times to ensure all work is completed.
Operate a lorry loader crane in varying environments and conditions.
Work within our Tanker team executing customer service calls.
Complete the relevant safety checks on the vehicle and equipment you've been allocated, reporting any issues immediately, ensuring fleet and safety compliance.
Adhere to EU driving hours and Working Times Regulations (WTD) at all times, targeting zero infringements.
Valid Class 1 HGV Driving Licence, with DCPC
Previous experience in operating a lorry loader crane from 31 tonne and above/up to 66 tonnes.
Previous tanker / waste management experience, desired, but not essential, as training will be provided.
CPCS and/or ALLMI lorry loader operator qualification
Flexible and willing to meet the needs of the business.
Able to work in a team building positive relationships with colleagues and external providers.
Demonstrate flexibility, as appointments may require you to be away from home throughout the working week, driving all types of vehicles at any of our locations.
