Responsibilities of this Vehicle Damage Assessor role:
14. Inspect and assess damaged vehicles to determine repair requirements, costs, and timescales
15. Identify and document the correct repair methods, creating accurate electronic and manual estimates
16. Liaise with insurance companies to gain repair authorisation within agreed costings
17. Communicate effectively with customers, engineers, and technicians to explain repair methodologies
18. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of manufacturer repair procedures and insurer guidelines
19. Work collaboratively with bodyshop colleagues to ensure vehicles are repaired safely and efficiently
Requirements of this Vehicle Damage Assessor role:
20. Proven experience as a Vehicle Damage Assessor / VDA within a bodyshop or accident repair environment
21. Strong understanding of vehicle repair processes and estimating systems
22. Excellent communication and customer service skills
23. High attention to detail with the ability to work under pressure
24. Full UK driving licence is essential
25. Full Right to Work in the UK is required – sponsorship is not available
