The successful applicant will have a Level 3 qualification in Health & Social Care.
Responsibilities and Duties
The successful candidate will be able to provide all necessary support to people living at the home, enabling them to live an active and fulfilled life, whilst promoting a happy and friendly environment.
* be a motivated individual who will work as part of a team, promoting good working relationships, under the supervision of the Manager and Deputy Manager.
* assist with the supervision of care staff and the induction of new members of care staff to the team
* assist in the daily support and care of each individual person, respecting the dignity and privacy of people living at the home.
* promote anti-discriminatory practice and promote equality and diversity throughout your work
* help create a safe, comfortable and homely environment for people to live in
* liaise with the Manager or any other health professional eg GP, OT, CPN, SALT team to provide treatment for residents' during ill health
* be responsible for making sure information is recorded clearly and accurately
* administer medication and maintain accurate records
Qualifications and Skills
The successful candidate will hold a level 3 Health and Social Care/Adult Care qualification
Job Type: Permanent contracts available (full time)
Salary: scaled depending on qualification and shift pattern
Skills/Qualifications:
* Level 3 Health & Social (Adult) Care.
* A minimum of one years experience working in a similar setting.
