Overview
You will be supporting our young people to progress positively through receiving encouragement, understanding, care and patience. You will be required to record daily logs and liaise with colleagues, our dedicated Care Management Team and outside agencies. We have a range of flexible shift options to choose from and are keen to speak with candidates who can work days/nights and ongoing block bookings. Flexibility will be required for this role as the clients do require a mixture of long and short shift coverage.
Responsibilities
* Record daily logs and liaise with colleagues, the Care Management Team and outside agencies.
* Provide encouragement, understanding, care and patience to young people (CYP).
* Coordinate with the team to ensure consistent support and progress for CYP.
* Adapt to a mixture of long and short shift coverage, including days and nights, and ongoing block bookings as needed.
Qualifications & Requirements
* Right to Work in the UK
* 6 months+ UK experience of working within a similar CYP setting
* 3 References: 2 x professional references, 1 x character
* In date PMVA or Team Teach certificate (if PMVA-trained, willing to undertake Team Teach training)
* Enhanced Child DBS, subscribed to the update service (or willing to get one)
* Relevant Qualifications (Level 2 or 3 in Health & Social Care preferred)
