Role Purpose:
Are you an experienced Data Analyst with a passion for advanced statistical analysis, data mining, and predictive modelling? We are seeking a Senior Data Analyst to join our team and provide data-driven insights throughplex and specialised data projects. Reporting to the Head of Data, this role involves close collaboration with Change Managers, Programme and Project support staff, and external partners.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Data Analysis and Visualisation: Apply tools and techniques for data analysis and visualisation, including business information tools.
2. Data Management: Identify, collect, and migrate data to and from a range of systems.
3. Data Cleaning and Aggregation: Manage, clean, abstract, and aggregate data alongside a range of analytical studies.
4. Data Manipulation: Manipulate and link different data sets.
5. Data Presentation: Summarise and present data and conclusions in the most appropriate format for users.
Key Contacts and Relationships:
6. Internal:municate with a range of stakeholders, including Service Owners, Product Managers, and Project Teams.
7. External: Work closely with the Enabling Partner and other suppliers to manage activities.
8. Operational and Strategicmunication: Effectivelymunicate at both operational and strategic levels to related business areas, project/programme customers/stakeholders, and project colleagues.
9. Collaboration: Work with Change & Technology colleagues to ensure project requirements are integrated and aligned with related developments across the organisation.
10. Influence: Positively influence stakeholders at operational and middle management levels.
11. Interpersonal Skills: Maintain effective working relationships with suppliers and other external actors to achieve targeted development and delivery objectives.
Knowledge and Experience:
Essential:
12. Master’s degree in Analytics,puter Science, Data Science, Mathematics, or a related field.
13. 3–5 years of industry experience in data analysis using SQL.
14. A minimum of 4+ years of full-time experience in data analysis.
15. Experience leading large-scale data migrations.
16. Experience working at an enterprise scale.
17. Background in data projects with a broad understanding of data migration, mapping, and modelling.
18. Applied knowledge of data analytics and data pipelining tools and approaches across all data lifecycle stages.
19. Advanced SQL knowledge.
20. Experience in Python and/or R programming.
21. Experience in Microsoft Data Stack (Azure/Data Factory/PowerBI/SQL Server).
22. Proficiency in data visualisation tools, such as Tableau.
Desirable:
23. Advanced scripting experience in R or Python.
24. Ability to write and maintain moderatelyplex data pipelines.
25. Experience in general data architecture.
26. Previous experience in the Education sector.
27. Knowledge of Cloud services – Dynamics 365.
