Location: Worcester
Hours: Full-time, permanent
Double day-shift rotation
Salary:£32,000 – £39,600 per annum (depending on experience)
Key Responsibilities of a CNC 4/5 Axis Milling Programmer / Setter / Operator
* Programming, setting and operating 4 & 5 Axis Machining Centres
* Producing a wide range of highly toleranced components used in the manufacture of CNC machines
* Programming, editing and improving parts using Mazatrol CNC controls
* Working collaboratively within the machining team, adhering to strict health & safety standards
* Supporting continuous improvement, kaizen initiatives and positive shopfloor culture
Key Skills of a CNC 4/5 Axis Milling Programmer / Setter / Operator
* Strong understanding of setting and operating CNC machining centres
* Proven experience working safely with CNC controls
* Ability to work effectively within a busy manufacturing environment
* Positive, proactive and can-do attitude
Desirable:
* Ability to program from engineering drawings using Mazatrol
* Completed mechanical engineering apprenticeship, HNC or equivalent
