About The Role
In your role as an Activities Co-ordinator at HC-One, kindness will be at the core of everything you do. It touches upon every aspect of our Dementia, Nursing, Residential, and Specialist care homes. Every person working here understands that our Residents are individuals with their own stories to tell. Joining HC-One offers a wonderful opportunity to give back to these individuals.
As an Activities Co-ordinator, you will plan and implement activities that delight our Residents. You will assist the Home Manager in organizing fundraising events. Whether you're encouraging Residents to socialize, developing new activity ideas based on their hobbies, or involving the care team, your approach will always be rooted in kindness.
We seek someone with experience working with vulnerable individuals, ideally in developing activity programmes. Your positive energy, ability to get along with people, planning, organizational, and IT skills are essential. Communication with Residents and colleagues should always be considerate and kind.
Safeguarding is everyone's responsibility. You should recognize signs of abuse, harm, or neglect and know how to respond. All staff will attend safeguarding training and undertake additional relevant training. You should be able to seek advice and report concerns appropriately.
We provide full training, offering a great opportunity to learn. In return, you will benefit from a wide range of benefits supporting your well-being and career development, including:

* Paid Enhanced DBS/PVG.
