We're on the lookout for Business Reconciliation Analysts to join our consultancy client to support a large finance migration. In this critical role, you'll be the gatekeeper of data integrity-running reports, performing reconciliations, and ensuring our clients receive accurate, high-quality information every time.
Independently generate and upload financial and operational reports from internal systems.
Conduct thorough reviews of reports and reconciliation outputs to ensure accuracy and completeness.
Perform sense checks and spot checks to identify anomalies or inconsistencies.
Escalate discrepancies clearly and promptly.
Finalise and approve reports for client distribution.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve reporting issues.
Essential Skills & Experience:
Strong analytical skills with the ability to work with large data sets.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including advanced functions.
Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
Desirable Extras:
Familiarity with general ledger (GL) and sub-ledger structures.
Basic accounting knowledge.
Experience with financial systems such as Oracle and Apex.
