Salary:£35,000 per annum
Metalis are working exclusively with a precision engineering company in Coventry (CV6), who are looking for a CNC/Manual Turner to join their team.
Job Duties:
* You will be setting and operating an XYZ SLX425 x 1.25m Proturn Lathe & a Colchester Mastiff VS1800
* Program online for CNC's
* Small batch work (20 off's max)
* Read and interpret engineering drawings
* Use of Surface Grinders, Offhand Grinders, Band Saw, Tub Grinders, Reciprocating Saw, Diamond Lap when required
* Inspection of components as required using the various inspection facilities available
* Identification of tooling requirements for production purposes and procurement of tooling as required in conjunction with production engineering
* Identifying potential improvements in productivity and liaising with production engineering as required to implement improvements
Job Requirements:
* Engineering apprenticeship/Time xsngvjr Served is required
* CNC and Manual experience is preferred
* Tool Room experience is preferred
Salary & Shift:
* £35,000 per annum
* Monday to Thursday, 7:30am - 4:30pm & Friday, 7:30am - 12:30pm
