Job Description
1. Develop, lead, and execute purchasing strategies in the FMCG industry.
2. Craft negotiation strategies and close deals with optimal terms.
3. Partner with stakeholders to ensure clear requirements documentation.
4. Perform cost and scenario analysis, and benchmarking.
5. Assess, manage, and mitigate risks to the procurement process.
6. Seek and partner with reliable vendors and suppliers.
7. Determine quantity and timing of deliveries in line with company needs.
8. Monitor and forecast upcoming levels of demand in the retail sector.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Procurement Executive should have:
* Previous purchasing experience.
* Solid judgment and decision-making skills.
* Strong leadership capabilities and negotiation skills.
* Knowledge of sourcing and procurement techniques.
* Ability to network and build relationships with vendors and suppliers.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
* Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
