Spine and Biomaterials Marketing Manager

Job Summary
The International Spine & Biomaterials Marketing Manager will drive the marketing strategy for the Spine & Biomaterials portfolio across international regions, growing market presence and accelerating brand visibility. Reporting to the International Marketing Director Spine, the role collaborates with cross‑functional teams to develop and implement effective marketing plans that align with overall business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
* Strategic Development: Design and implement comprehensive marketing strategies for the Spine & Biomaterials portfolio, aligning with global and regional campaigns.
* Campaign Activation & Management: Lead the development and execution of marketing campaigns, ensuring timely delivery and success using digital and integrated MARCOM plans to drive demand generation.
* Launch Excellence: Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure successful product launches through innovative marketing and sales strategies.
* Performance Analysis: Monitor and analyse key performance metrics to assess marketing effectiveness and revenue generation relative to business expectations.
* Cross‑Functional Collaboration: Liaise with sales, supply chain, finance and medical affairs to ensure cohesive execution of marketing initiatives and alignment with regional objectives.
* Customer Engagement: Foster strong relationships with healthcare professionals, KOLs and key customers to gather insights that drive product positioning and marketing strategies.
* Training & Support: Act as a product champion, supporting commercial & professional education activities, elevating knowledge and competencies around Spine & Biomaterials within the commercial organization and surgical community.
Experience and Education
* Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration or related field.
* Relevant Experience: Minimum 5 years of marketing experience within the orthopaedic sector.
* Proven Success: Demonstrated experience in developing and implementing successful marketing plans and campaigns, particularly in product launches.
* Analytical Skills: Strong ability to analyse data and metrics to assess performance and drive initiatives, proficiency in Excel and CRM systems.

* Communication Excellence: Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively convey messages to diverse audiences.

* Adaptability: Proactive and flexible approach to problem‑solving, with a track record of adapting strategies in a dynamic environment.
* Presentation Skills: Ability to create and deliver impactful presentations to executive leadership, customers and field teams.
* Work Environment: Ability to work with cadavers and within an operating room setting.
* Surgeon Engagement: Experience leading surgeon teams and meetings, and proven ability to define customer needs.

* Overall travel expectations: 40–50% across international regions.
* English language required; other languages preferable.
